As I think of the endless opportunities to use this blog in the 24/7 society we live in, I can't help but ponder the social significance of this "resource."
Will the days of patiently waiting for the postal carrier's delivery of Grandma's birthday card (with $5.00 in it) and holiday greeting cards from distant acquaintances be replaced with a link to Amazon.com for an online gift card and endless animated holiday cards with Santa Claus singing some ridiculous song, as raindeer dance in the background? Perhaps......
None-the-less, I will embrace the new medium and continue to send my cards via U.S. Mail (snail mail). Of course, this will only be done after constantly monitoring the ever-changing cost of a stamp and getting a cramp in my hand, since my fingers are contorted from typing rather than practicing the cursive handwriting my third grade teacher so patiently taught me.

Funny, Scott! I have to admit most of my cards are E-cards now - especially now that you have to measure your cards to figure out their price! 8| But still, the hand cramps are worth it for the big stuff! :) Have a great day!
